about

In Isolation We Prosper is a colossal release from Kilmarnock duo Murray and Dawn Baxter, that features every released and unreleased song/demo from the duos three Alternative Rock bands, Mechanical Smile (2007-2014), Twin Heart (2015-2019) and DreamKids (2020-Present).

The purpose of this release is to help raise funds for DreamKids upcoming recording sessions taking place in September 2020. Several live performances were cancelled which ultimately hindered the income to support the recording costs of the EP.

The release features Seventy-five tracks that include thirty-four official releases from the three bands in reverse chronological order and forty-one bonus tracks in reverse chronological order that include a mixture of previously released and unreleased B-Sides, acoustic and full band live sessions, remixes, featured performances, intro tracks and never heard before recordings including Dawn’s solo demo EP, Introduction Of Short Sounds, from the alias Delicate Bliss.

Murray and Dawn have spent hours locating all the tracks and putting this release together in the hope that it takes fans old and new through the incredible journey of their musical careers, knowing they are contributing to future recordings and memories.
